Theresa M. Caldwell is the co-author, with Samuel Griffin III, of Safety Seal and Rent-A-Cop Reboot, and co-author of Safety Seal and the Helpful Numbers with Imani Harris-Griffin. Theresa Caldwell, MIS, is a multi-faceted trainer and public speaker who incorporates movement and listening experiences into her work sharing the importance of trauma-informed/trauma-responsive care and resilience-building. She is a Certified Trauma Professional, Certified Listening Professional, and Certified Group Fitness Instructor. She is married with one son and two step-children.
Janaé Matthews is a self-taught illustrator and graphic designer based in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. She loves bright bold colors, whimsy, and exploring the hidden worlds within imagination. Janaé’s skills range from branding, custom typography design, email marketing, logo design and art direction, to concept art and character design. Janae’s current projects include helping cultivate Church of the Redeemer graphics and visual identity, as well as developing and training graphic design volunteers. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication Design from Stevenson University, and she has almost a decade of experience in professional design and illustration. When she’s not creating, Janaé can be found traveling, discovering hidden gem food spots, gaming, or spending time with her family.
Safety Seal and the Helpful Numbers co-author Imani Harris-Griffin — writing with Theresa Caldwell for Leumas Publishing — holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz, where her love of writing first took root, and later followed her passion for food to culinary school in New York City. Imani lives in Virginia with her husband, Samuel, and their daughter, Bella — whose imagination and creativity helped inspire the beloved character of Safety Seal.
Samuel Griffin III is a 30-year security professional and the founder of Leumas Security Services (since 1996). Through his publishing company, Leumas Publishing LLC, he writes books for grown-ups and kids alike — including Safety Seal, created with co-author Theresa Caldwell and illustrator Janae Matthews.
The Safety Seal family grew with Safety Seal and the Helpful Numbers, written by Samuel's wife, Imani Harris-Griffin, with Theresa Caldwell. The first Safety Seal book is dedicated to Samuel and Imani's daughter, Bella Griffin.
